Is ‘Girl Meets World’ episode 14 new tonight; when does it return?

Last week, “Girl Meets World” ended for the time being with an episode entitled “Girl Meets Flaws,” but there was unfortunately not a whole lot of information out there regarding when you would be able to see Riley Matthews and company back on the Disney Channel again.

So when will the show be back with new stories? It’s not going to be tonight, and nor will it be the following week. (Did you really think that a kids’ channel would air a new episode on Halloween?) Instead, current information suggests that the next new episode for the show will be “Girl Meets Friendship,” and it will air on Friday, November 21. This will be the first of two reported episodes to air during the month (the second being “Girl Meets Brother”), and then we will most likely have some episodes airing in December. Given that there is a holiday special confirmed, we at least know that this is coming with 100% certainty.

One of the luxuries of being a show on the Disney Channel is that you can really operate under your own rules, and program more around when you think that your viewers will be around. For example, many adult networks would not covet Friday nights as a timeslot, since many young adults are out doing other things. However, this may be different for children.

There are in total still a handful of episodes left to air, and it is very well possible that not all of them will finish up in 2014.
