‘Gracepoint’ episode 5 preview: What’s next for David Tennant, Anna Gunn?

Where will the story go from here on “Gracepoint“? We’re around the halfway point in the story, and Anna Gunn, David Tennant, and the rest of the cast have some important challenges that lie ahead.

One of the biggest ones that you’re going to encounter is something that we’ve seen on many other police dramas over the years: Whether or not it is every a good move to reveal to the press exactly what is going on with a case. Sometimes, this can create hysteria, and that may happen more than ever when you are dealing with a show that is set in a small town.

As per always when it comes to this show, there are no real episode titles here, or a flurry of details. All we really have for you is the mini-synopsis below:

“Beth makes a decision to open up to the press just as Jack Reinhold’s shady past is revealed.”

There is one other significant challenge that this series has right now, and that is battling the ratings. The numbers for this series have not been anywhere close to good over the past few weeks, with the show losing what is ultimately an enormous chunk of its “Bones” lead-in. This episode has a short order, and we can only hope that Fox is not going to make any big moves and ship it off to a different night so that they can put something else in this timeslot.
