‘Supernatural’ season 10 spoilers: First details on Jensen Ackles, Jared Padalecki, and 200th episode
There is no episode of “Supernatural” season 10 that we’ve been looking for quite like “Fan Fiction,” the big 200 for the show. Anytime that a show gets to this milestone, it’s worth a celebration; but with this show, which cheated death many times thanks to a devoted fan following, it deserves a massive celebration.
We don’t want to spoil too much about this hour, save for that it will be focused on the Winchesters, potentially have musical numbers, and include many familiar faces from past seasons of the show. Heck, even The CW is being a little more coy than they usually are. Given that these people often prefer to give you a flurry of details in their synopses, the one below is actually somewhat of a surprise:
“When Sam (Jared Padalecki) and Dean (Jensen Ackles) investigate the disappearance of a teacher, they are stunned to see the school is putting on a musical based on their lives. Familiar faces abound in this milestone episode.”
This sounds, to be frank, awesome. We love the idea of the show going meta right now, and really tributing what has become an enormous part of the “Supernatural” universe: Everyone has their own Sam and Dean story to tell.
Also, we’re excited to see who from the past turns up in the hour, and we hope that these secrets stay that way for a little while. We love sharing plot hints and teases as much as anyone, but sometimes, it really is nice to be able to just sit back, relax, and wait to see just what a series has up its sleeve in real-time.

I wonder if it will be like a fan cos-play, with our favorite characters showing up on stage in the stories from the Winchester Gospels – apparently Becky has been busy on-line putting stuff out. So, more like a Fan Convention than a Broadway Musical. Wonder if there will be Karaoke??? Looking forward to it!

JDM isn’t coming back because he’s on the outs with the shows. He gave an interview years ago in which he said he wanted to come back, even for one episode, bu he’d heard that the show wasn’t about the brothers anymore, it was about the angels, and he wondered if John would fit in any more. That was enough to turn the powers that be against him.
