‘Blue Bloods’ season 5 spoilers: ‘Alias’ alum adds to already-busy resume

CBS LogoTomorrow night, a new episode of “Blue Bloods” season 5 will air on CBS, and we can already tell you a thing or two about the latest guest star … and just how busy they are at this very moment.

According to a new report from TVLine, “Alias” alum Victor Garber is going to be signing up for the upcoming November 21 episode of the drama (the last before Thanksgiving), where he will be playing the role of a highly respected man within the Jewish community by the name of Donald Stein. He also is deeply involved with a powerful New York real estate empire. He becomes angry over a series of murders of many powerful Jewish men, and in turn becomes even angrier when Frank (Tom Selleck) does not share his belief that there is a connection between all of these murders as “hate crimes.” He needs more evidence to label them as such.

This is just one of many prominent TV gigs for Garber coming up, since he’s also going to be stopping by another hit show in “The Flash” as one half potentially of the character Firestorm. The other half, Ronnie, will be played by “The Tomorrow People” alum Robbie Amell.

“Blue Bloods” is certainly not the most prominent show on TV when it comes to publicity, but it remains the most-watched show going on Friday nights. So long as it holds on to that title, it remains hard for CBS to get rid of it.

What do you think: Are you happy to see Garber joining the ranks, and spending so much time with Tom Selleck to boot? Share with a comment.
