‘Orphan Black’ season 3 spoilers: First table read takes place for Tatiana Maslany, cast
Great news for all members of the Clone Club: “Orphan Black” season 3 is officially getting underway!
In the latest post on the show’s official Twitter handle (see below), it was revealed that the cast is currently in the process of having its first substantial table read of the new season. This is a big step in the right direction, given that filming will begin not too long after this for Tatiana Maslany and the cast.
With the potential for male clones now, it’s clear that season 3 will be the most complicated one yet for the show by a wide large margin. Will it still be pretty awesome, though? It’s hard to have any doubt of that. The reason that so many have flocked to the show in the first place here is because of its originality and its risk-taking. How many other shows out there would even consider having a program featuring one actress playing so many different characters? What other show would have a dance sequence in the finale featuring so many of them? There’s just so much great stuff that “Orphan Black” does on a regular basis that it’s hard to be upset.
When it comes to specifics, it’s still difficult to know much, given the tight-lipped nature of most involved with the show. We can assume that there will be some greater twists at work here, though, and that some of the clones are going to be in more trouble moving forward. All we hope is that the ratings rise this coming season, and we see it get even more of the awards love it deserves.

Honestly, I’m worried the boy clones will dominate because they’re the writers’ new playtoy and the original clones, especially Cosima and Alison, will get pushed out. I don’t want that to happen.
