‘Homeland’ season 4 spoilers: Carrie, Quinn, shock, and surprises

See Carrie -Even though we only saw the end of the road for Nicholas Brody last season on “Homeland,” this show is clearly not wasting a whole lot of time when it comes to giving Carrie another potential suitor.

According to TVLine, Sunday night’s third episode of the season is going to focus very much on a series of events that cause Peter Quinn to really consider the feelings that he has for Claire Danes’ character, and also what the result of those feelings could be. As young would expect, Carrie has some big decisions to make of her own. (Hopefully, they do not involve ordering any more drone strikes of weddings.)

To a certain extent, we find ourselves excited to see what lies ahead here, but it’s complicated in that we have a hard time rooting for Carrie right now. While she is someone capable of love, she’s not winning any awards right now for being a good person. She is cold, callous, and also for the most part ignores her own child now after she chose to leave her with her sister. There are ways that you could say that this was a smart move for the sake of the kid, buy there are still a myriad of other problems that need to be addressed.

So far, “Homeland” does feel like it is on a better path than what we saw during the third season, but make no mistake here that there is still plenty of time for this to turn around and crash.
