‘Sleepy Hollow’ season 2, episode 3 preview: Tom Mison and counterfeiters
On tonight’s “Sleepy Hollow” season 2 episode, you are going to get an opportunity to see a story that is almost in the show’s truest fashion: Something that combines history, while at the same time twisting it in a way that works towards the unique goals and missions of the show.
In the sneak peek below, you hear Ichabod Crane (Tom Mison) talk a little about counterfeiters that existed within his age, and how powerful some coins were back when he was aiding Washington. In addition to this, you also get a chance to find out some more about Benedict Arnold, who we now consider to be one of the most notorious traitors in American history. As a matter of fact, Arnold is so notorious that even the sound of his name is almost in many ways considered to be a reference point.
For the most part, we enjoy it whenever the show does introduce new historical figures. After all, we appreciated Benjamin Franklin greatly, and it does further influence the world in which the show lives. Is it a little bit convenient that Crane somehow knew almost every important person in the history of the American Revolution, but who knows? Maybe he just can celebrate being an extremely well-connected man for some reason.
Hopefully, this episode will at least continue to be exciting, and have us both glued to our seat and guessing some of what is coming up next. When it comes to “Sleepy Hollow,” we by and large try not to ask for anything more than that.
