‘Homeland’ season 4, episode 3 preview: Where do Claire Danes, cast go from here?
After much anticipation, “Homeland” season 4 returned to Showtime on Sunday night, and with two episodes that hopefully established what will be the show’s new normal: Carrie overseas, trying to become the Section Chief she needs in order to take down one complicated job and the next. She has a new team around her for the most part, but also some of the same struggles. for one, she is now becoming extremely detached emotionally from her surroundings, and given that she is a mother now, we would not consider that to be a good thing in the slightest.
The new episode airing next week is just an hour, and it is entitled “Shalwar Kameez.” For those curious, that is a traditional form of dress in many parts of Asia. For some preliminary details on what to expect (it isn’t much), just take a look at the short synopsis:
“Carrie recruits a key asset; Quinn locates a potential lead.”
We’ve enclosed a sneak peek for the next new episode below, as well, largely for the simple reason of giving us a reason to smile: Saul! We’re glad that he and Carrie will be working together, mostly because the two on some level need each other. He balances her out, and we saw during the first two episodes just how restless he was getting in the private sector. He may have wanted retirement to a certain degree, but this man lives and breathes espionage and it is what he’s truly good it. We’re glad to see him back at it.
