MTV’s ‘Awkward’ season 4, episode 14 preview: Next move for Ashley Rickards, cast

Just in case you wondered if Jenna was really going to get away with hiding the truth about New Year’s Eve on “Awkward,” next week’s season 4 episode is going to be chaos of the worst kind with her.

Basically, the reveal that Owen was at her school, and a sophomore no less, is news that is going to start to sink in with her a little bit and cause problems. He is a kid who of course has questions after they kissed at midnight, and he is entitled to have answers. Unfortunately, she lied to Matty about everything that happened and told him that she kept their “no hookup” pact.

Just in case this was not rough enough for her, this episode is also going to feature the arrival of some college acceptance letters. This is the time when these characters start to think about their futures, but for Jenna, what if she feels like she suddenly doesn’t have one? There would be nothing more devastating to her than being told “no” by the school she wants to attend. The problem is that with colleges, you really do not know sometimes what criteria they use to judge you. Sometimes, it is grades alone, while at other points, it is test scores, or extracurricular activities, or what you decide you want to do for the rest of your life. They take a look at everything, and sometimes, there are no easy answers.

We’ll just have to see where the story on this show goes from here, so be sure to stay tuned.
