MTV’s ‘Awkward’ season 4, episode 13 preview: Could Jenna find love again?

At this point, “Awkward” is making a living out of finding Jenna Hamilton possible new love interests, and the latest one happens to be a little more musical inclined. Yes, we’re thinking even more so than Jake.

In the video below, Ashley Rickards’ character gets a simple lesson in classical music via Owen, and that includes a little bit of Beethoven. Strangely, the only thing that we can think of while watching this is that there may actually be some teenagers now who think more of Robin Thicke than one of the greatest composers ever when they hear part of the Fifth Symphony. Pretty shocking, no? We like to think so.

We do feel light Jenna would ultimately be so much better suited to finding someone new right now, and what is for a number of different reasons. For one, we’re sure that she would appreciate an opportunity to actually get her head away from Matty, and think about her own future for a change right now. The guy’s life is a little bit of a hot mess, and just because Eva is seemingly gone now, that does not mean that things are going to suddenly level off and become normal for him again. As awful and terrible as she was, you really cannot blame all of the problems the two have on her alone.

Also, who knows? Jenna finding an attraction with someone else may be the music that Matty needs to really wake him up to a future without her.
