‘White Collar’ season 6 spoilers: See Matt Bomer, surprises in latest promo
For its latest promo, “White Collar” season 6 decided to lift the veil on at least a few more secrets leading into its sixth and final season … including that some familiar faces will be back to help to tie things together.
Of course, we are talking about Keller and Rebecca. If you’ve seen previous press releases and the like, this really shouldn’t surprise you too much … but what does it mean? With Rebecca, we are especially curious given that this character is hardly who many would want Neal Caffrey with by the end of the series. She’s already played him once, and that could happen many more times before the show ends. (Sadly, there doesn’t seem to be a Hilarie Burton sighting on the horizon, unless the writers / producers really find a way to come out and surprise us.)
Regardless of any guest stars, Matt Bomer will still take center stage here for what looks to be a fast-paced, intense final six episodes that will in many ways bring the show back to some of its roots: Focusing on Neal trying to pull off great heists. The only twist here is that we hope in the process that he eventually finds his freedom. As much fun as it is to see him work alongside Peter, we feel like he’s earned it at this point, and the show would not quite be the same if it ends without this happening.
The final season of “White Collar” premieres on USA Thursday, November 6. We will have some further news soon.

It is ABSURD that Neal doesn’t end up with Sarah, ABSURD, they’re perfect for each other, they share amazing chemestry, she keeps him grounded without completely cutting his wings… they are perfect together, and they obviously are madly in love with each other, so why on earth wouldn’t they get Hilarie back for a few episodes and give us the perfect end for Neal?!

Why do people automatically assume that a female character means all romance and “ever afters”? .Sorry to break it to you but women characters can be more than that. I love Rebecca’s arc, it is deep and meaningful in telling Neal’s story. She is more than Neal’s hot girlfriend! I’m very excited for the new season as it explores into who Neal truly is. I can’t wait to see how it all ends. It’s definitely a challenge for a character as complex as Neal Caffrey! We don’t want him turning all good, but we don’t want him going dark either!.. As long as Mozzie is always by his side I’m fine. Btw Sara ship has long sailed, time to move on, Neal certainly has!
Skiwitch, I love your idea of Sophie! She was perfect!

I don’t want this show to end at all, but realize that it can’t go on forever. That being said, I definitely don’t want Neal to end up with Rebecca or Keller or any other killer. I’d like to see him free and either still helping Peter at the FBI of his own free will because he marries Sophie, the rich blond widow who could support his lifestyle or riding off into the sunset with Alex. I DO NOT want it to end with him in jail or on the run, but I suspect it will end with us trying to guess which way he will jump.
