‘Under the Dome’ season 2 finale spoilers: Will someone die in ‘Go Now’?

Are you ready to see what comes next on “Under the Dome“? Well, next week comes the season 2 finale, and depending on what CBS decides, this could also be the last episode of the entire series. We’ll just have to wait and see where some of the chips fall.

At the moment, there really are not that many details out there about the episode. Even the official synopsis is somewhat vague, and offers very little other than what you saw air on CBS tonight:

“A potential exit from the Dome is revealed just as the walls begin closing in on those trapped in Chester’s Mill.”

We definitely do have plenty of story that this episode can choose to build upon, at least if it so chooses. Just think about what happened to Melanie and Lyle tonight, and the serious threat that comes from the dome itself. It has done many strange and life-threatening things before to put the lives of everyone in Chester’s Mill at risk, but never quite like this.

The only thing that we can necessarily say that we expect at this point is just for things to be insane … incredibly insane. We’re not quite sure how the show will really recover from all of this when the dust settles. (Then again, was it ever going to be recovered at all until the series finale?)
