‘Sons of Anarchy’ season 7, episode 2 preview: What to expect from Charlie Hunnam, cast in ‘Toil and Till’

As we continue along this final ride that is “Sons of Anarchy” season 7, Tuesday takes us to a place in “Toil and Till” where we are waiting to see just which direction the pendulum chooses to swing.

For Jax Tellar (Charlie Hunnam) and SAMCRO, the question mostly is how far he is willing to take the club down a war with the Chinese, over a crime that they did not even commit in killing Tara. So long as he thinks that they are the responsible parties, we cannot see him turning back. Unfortunately, who is going to tell him to stop? We really cannot think of a single person. Gemma knows better than to get herself killed, while Juice is used to being on the run at this point. Unser may be starting to figure things out, but he is far from in a position right now where he can do or say anything to change things.

So where does Sheriff Jarry fit into the mix? FX only releases so many photos for these episodes, and it is curious that Annabeth Gish’s character is in a couple of them for “Toil and Till.” It’s probably just a coincidence, but we wouldn’t just say that she is here as a replacement for Eli Roosevelt. She is going to have a role in SAMCRO’s operations moving forward, even if much of it may for now be a mystery. (Spoiler alert for “The Bridge”!) Given that Gish’s commitments to her other show on FX may be lessened now, the window could be open for her to make many appearances here.
