‘Teen Wolf’ season 5 spoilers: Holland Roden speculates on Lydia, Stiles’ future

“Teen Wolf” is popular for a variety of reasons, but one of them most-likely is the sheer number of pairings and romantic possibilities that exist. Everyone has their own favorite couple, and sometimes there is so much passion behind them that they will root for them to get together at all costs.

We definitely know that this sort of passion exists out there for the relationship between Lydia and Stiles (a.k.a. Stydia to some fans). We’ve known for a long time that Stiles was interested in Lydia, but she was the one originally holding back. Lately, though, his affections have veered over to Malia, who have developed a little bit of a following on their own.

Well, the actress behind Lydia has now made her own personal feelings on the pairing pretty clear, and it may serve to give some of you out there hope that these two could somehow make things work … eventually. Speaking to OK! Magazine recently, Holland Roden compared the couple to one of the most-famous “will they or won’t they?” pairs in TV history:

“Stiles and Lydia, it would be nice to have closure on that … Are they friends, are they more than friends? I’m a fan of ‘Friends,’ and I loved the Ross and Rachel connection and how they ended that.”

Well, if this relationship ends like that, you may be waiting for a while. Ross and Rachel ended “Friends” with a kiss and confession, but there was plenty of back-and-forth that took place before then.
