‘America’s Got Talent’ results: Will Emil & Dariel, Miguel Dakota, or Sons of Serendip receive Snapple Save?
Tonight’s “America’s Got Talent” results show was delayed thanks to a Presidential Address out of Washington DC, so it took a little while longer for us to be on the air.
Then, when the show did return, we had Muppets! This was silly but fun, and we suppose if you were going to add some filler to the show, it may as well be something kind of like this.
Let’s start here with the Snapple Save results. Emil & Dariel, Miguel Dakota, and the Sons of Serendip are in danger, and we’re kind of surprised about the latter group given how good they are. They seem to mostly be a victim of going early in the show. It’s probably a race between them and the string artists based on early vote tallies.
As for some other results…
Emily West – The moment it was between her and Mara Justine, and Mara started off the show, you had to know that this was not going to have a great ending for Mara. Emily is a favorite to really win the whole show.
AcroArmy – We can’t object to the choice here, largely because they do bring something new to the table … even if it does come at the expense of Blue Journey.
Quintavious Johnson – We like Quintavious, but after seeing the three that America is voting for right now for the Snapple Save, we’re starting to feel like some magic acts are getting the shaft and the finale is going to be very heavy on the vocalists.
Mat Franco – We probably would’ve preferred getting one more magician to go with Sons of Serendip in the finale, but you can’t win them all. Mat’s probably the best choice, and he can at least boast now being the first magician to make it all the way to the top 6.
Sons of Serendip – The lucky recipients of the Snapple Save. Good on you guys! This allows them to regroup next week, and see if they can actually pull off a win.
Miguel Dakota – With the judges tying their vote, America picked this one … and it now means that we have a finale with three solo singers in it. Not a fan of that at all, even if they are mostly pretty good.

Mat’s not the first magician in the top 6 – that horrid Collins Key got 5th place last year.
