‘The Big Bang Theory’ season 8 spoilers: First look at Kaley Cuoco’s Penny with new hair!

Typically, hair makeovers are not that big of a deal, but when you are on the most-popular sitcom on the planet and have a habit of keeping things relatively the same over the years, any change to your appearance is almost immediately worthy of headlines.

With this in mind, we present you here with the first image from “The Locomotion Interruption,” the first episode of “The Big Bang Theory” season 8 coming to CBS on Monday, September 22. It’s clear that Kaley Cuoco’s character has the new look here, and it seems to also be impacting the rest of her style to a certain degree. We don’t recall this ensemble before, but then again the past seven seasons do blend together in some ways.

Also of course worth noting here is that Sheldon manages to get himself back in the picture at the apartment … or at least that he is hanging out there after a railroad trip gone awry. His living situation is one of the biggest cliffhangers going into the new season.

As for this photo, we would assume this to be Penny potentially interviewing for her new job as a pharmaceutical sales rep. This is something that will allow her to use some of the skills that she has perfected from the world of acting, and then apply them to something else. This will lead to her actually having some financial success for a change, which is great news for her! However, it may produce some tension between her and Leonard, as he actually has to get used to her having all of this new success for a change.
