‘The Blacklist’ season 2 spoilers: The plan for James Spader’s Red and more (video)

Do you want to get a pretty substantial look at “The Blacklist” season 2? Then the video below via NBC is something that we imagine will be right up your alley.

In this clip, the primary thing to note almost right away is that you get you a pretty great account of where each individual character stands in their journey courtesy of the show’s executive producers. For example, the challenge for Reddington (James Spader) is going to be trying to figure out what to do next about Berlin. He is the most notorious enemy that he has encountered so far, enough so that Red has no real idea how to get rid of him. Also, we’re going to see more of Team Red as a whole, and understand better who some of these people are and how they ended up working for him.

The story as a whole will pick up a couple of months after the events of the first season, and in terms of the story, you are going to see a mixture of the standard case-of-the-week plots to go along with a continuation of everything we saw during the finale. Basically, all of this sounds very much like the same story we got in the show’s first go-around on the air. This made it one of the most-watched new series in quite a long time, so with that in mind, it only seems appropriate to ask the following question: Why in the world would you change that very much?
