‘Ink Master: Rivals’ season 5, episode 2 preview: A revealing challenge shakes up the artists
We didn’t know what to expect with the season premiere of “Ink Master: Rivals”, but it was easily the best premiere they’ve had since season 1. Of course there was drama, but they brought the focus back on the tattoos and we had great criticism from the judges, which is something that we’ve been missing the past 2 seasons.
After an episode that was straight up all about the tattoos, we are going to see a bit of the circus come back to town in next week’s all new episode. This show loves to shock the viewers and make the artists as uncomfortable as possible and what better way to do that then to give them canvases that have no clothes on. We saw an episode like this on “Ink Master” last season where the canvases were both male and female, but it looks like we will be seeing all female canvases and the artists will be working with body paint for their flash challenge instead of actual tattooing.
There will also be more fights, screaming, throwing things and over all drama between the rivals and it looks like there are a few artists that are making new rivals. The people we really expected to see fighting the most were Joshua and Jason, but we are starting to wonder if their past experience on the show together is actually helping them get along a bit better.
