‘Graceland’ season 2, episode 11 preview: ‘Home,’ and Briggs’ new struggle

Where does the story go from here on “Graceland”? Well, let’s just say that next week’s new episode “Home” is not going to feel very sweet at all for Briggs.

On the surface, this should be a happy time for him given that he just learned that Charlie is pregnant! Unfortunately, he is quickly learning right now that you really cannot run away from your past, and he now has to atone for some of what he has done to land him in the place that he now finds himself in.

Just in case that was not enough for this episode to cram in, there is also the issue of the team trying to undergo a major heist. We always enjoy that, mostly because it allows for an opportunity to have many people working together on something.

“Briggs receives startling information that someone in Graceland has evidence of his past crimes, and he decides to do whatever he must to take that person down, meanwhile the team executes a major bank heist in order to steal the money of Mike’s greatest adversary.”

It should not be a secret to anyone at this point that “Graceland” train is nearing the end of the station, at least for season 2. We have to hope that before this happens, Mike at least gets a little bit of closure and can start to calm himself a little bit. Meanwhile, Briggs better atone for something, right? We already have enough of a sad “parent not around their child” story going on right now with Jakes, and we really do not need to see that replicated.
