‘Once Upon a Time’ season 4 spoilers: Extrapolating ‘Breaking Glass’
Even though we have yet to see a single episode for “Once Upon a Time” season 4 at the moment, we are doing a pretty good job finding out more and more information about the titles for some upcoming episodes.
With that in mind, just feast your eyes on what we have for you today! In a new post on his official Twitter account, showrunner Adam Horowitz confirmed today that the upcoming fifth episode of the season will carry with it the title of “Breaking Glass,” which on the surface feels pretty innocuous and could be referring to a number of different things.
With this being said, let us try to put on our Sherlock Holmes hat here and figure this one out for a minute. There is one word here that we find to be very important, and that is “Glass” for one simple reason: Sidney Glass. Giancarlo Esposito is going to be back for at least some storyline this season, and we find it hard to believe that the producers would include this in the title without it being an allusion to him. (Also, Esposito is famous for “Breaking Bad,” so that has both words covered.)
We suppose that there are some who may wonder if this is more of a Cinderella reference, but Jessy Schram has not appeared on the show in many years, and even when she did, it was for a very isolated storyline. She has been busy of late with “Falling Skies” and “Mad Men,” but who knows? Maybe the timing works out okay for another appearance.
This episode was written by Kalinda Vazquez, who previously worked on “Kansas,” “Quiet Minds,” and more, along with newcomer to the show Scott Nimerfro.
As for those curious about the first four episodes of the season, their titles are in order “A Tale of Two Sisters,” “White Out,” “Rocky Road,” and “The Apprentice.”
