‘Nashville’ season 3 spoilers: ‘Dancing with the Stars’ pro Derek Hough in
How is this for some surprising casting when it comes to “Nashville” season 3? The show has went within the ABC network when it comes to its latest casting, and is not even someone particularly well-known for having experience in the genre.
Per sources, “Dancing with the Stars” pro Derek Hough has officially jumped on board the series for a major season 3 arc, and is going to play the part of Noah West, an extremely charming movie star who can be somewhat cunning, and also has little experience with the Nashville music industry. He encounters it mostly because of a casting in a new feature film project.
What is most interesting about this gig to us is how in the world Derek is going to juggle doing this and training a dancer at the same time on the ballroom competition, given that this is an extremely rigorous process. Not only that, but typically pro dancers try to travel with their partners for whatever other commitments that they have to get extra training. This may not be so possible here.
If there is a silver lining here, it is that the other pros on this coming season may have a little more of a fighting chance to walk home with the Mirrorball Trophy. Derek is the most-successful pro in the history of the show, and by a pretty decent margin to boot. Some of his most-successful dance partners include Nicole Scherzinger, Amber Riley (pictured with him above), and Jennifer Grey.
