‘Suits’ season 4, episode 9 preview: Mike and Rachel talk things out

Clearly, the past few weeks on “Suits” have not been easy ones for the Mike and Rachel character. First, Rachel messed things up by kissing Logan Sanders, though you can also argue that Mike screwed things up before that by lying about almost everything.

In the latest sneak peek below for Wednesday’s episode, though, one of the questions you may be asking yourself now is pretty simple: Is Mike harping a little too much? Should he at least try to let something go? Well, we suppose that this is a yes-and-no question. We understand why Mike would want to ensure that there are no other lies out there before he gets close to Rachel again. After all, she did kiss the man, and in Logan’s own words, she really seemed to like it.

Perhaps the biggest problem with the video overall is just the way in which he goes about posing the questions. This does not feel like a squabble in a relationship; instead, it feels like she is on the stand in a courtroom, being questioned by someone desperate for answers. This is not the sort of behavior you would expect for a good boyfriend to have, even if he is upset.

The ultimate takeaway here is that while we may be slightly more hopeful right now for Patrick J. Adams and Meghan Markle’s characters than we were at this point a few weeks ago, these two are not out of the woods just yet … not even close.
