‘Big Brother 16’ live feed spoilers: Veto Ceremony results; another backstab
Did everything go according to plan at the “Big Brother 16” Veto Ceremony on Monday, and did Christine make quite possibly one of the biggest mistakes of her game so far? The answer to both of these questions right now may be “Yes.”
After Zach of course used the Veto on himself, Christine made the move to nominate the only person left in the house not tied to the Detonators in some way in Nicole. (Yes, Victoria is not firmly a part of the alliance, but Derrick is basically controlling her vote; Caleb is something similar.) This move means that Nicole will likely be heading on the door Thursday, since Christine refused to put her up unless she knew for sure that she was safe. In a roundabout way, Nicole can really blame Frankie for this more than ever. Had the plan to get Frankie out actually worked, she would still be in power!
The reason that we feel like Christine bungled this is that Nicole probably would not have targeted her if she nominated her, while getting Donny out of the house would be something that benefited her heavily, given that he wants her, Derrick, and Caleb gone sooner rather than later.
We feel like Christine’s move was mostly made out of fear of not ticking off her fellow alliance members, and therefore proving she is loyal. She can celebrate that both Frankie, Donny, and Zach are all probably still bigger targets for now, but we cannot see her making it to the end with Derrick or Cody, who will also probably string Victoria along for much longer than anyone expects given how useless a player she is.
