‘Rizzoli & Isles’ season 5 spoilers: A lighter (and hotter?) story ahead

As of late, “Rizzoli & Isles” season 5 has been extremely dramatic, and we have to assume that this is probably going to continue moving into the episode airing Tuesday night. After all, how do you draw any other conclusion when you think that Jane could be losing her child?

While you can read a little more about what is coming up in that story over at this link, we want to move beyond that for at least a minute or two, and focus instead specifically on something that sounds in theory like it may be a little more pleasant to watch: “If You Can’t Stand the Heat.” This is the 11th episode of season 5 airing two weeks from Tuesday, and much of the theme of the story is going to be tied to the high temperature. In addition to that, things may be getting a little spicier when it comes to Angela’s personal life. Just take a look at the official synopsis below:

“In the middle of a heat wave, Jane and Maura find a man who died suspiciously in a bathtub full of ice. In trying to stay cool, Angela discovers a spicy tea that seems to be working, but it has unexpected romantic consequences.”

All we can hope for is that given everything that we have been through this season already, maybe the show will end off for the summer on a little bit of a lighter note. We know that this is not the end of the season yet by any means, so you can always come back with some drama a little later on.
