‘American Horror Story: Freak Show’: Jamie Brewer at the Teen Choice Awards!

While you still be wondering about who Jamie Brewer is going to play on “American Horror Story: Freak Show,” there is still one thing that you can take comfort in and celebrate: The fact that she is going to be a part of it! That was confirmed a while ago, and it gives her a nice gig to follow up her time as Nan Flanagan on the FX show.

While at the Teen Choice Awards’ red-carpet pre-show today, Brewer did get a little bit of screen time, and in the process managed to handle a pretty awkward moment with some professionalism. While in the middle of the interview, Brewer was asked if she was a fan of the show before she got the role … which is pretty crazy given that she was in the show’s pilot. How could she be a fan of something before it existed?

Still, Brewer was great because she took the interview platform and mostly had some fun with it, giving honest answers while supporting other Ryan Murphy work, as well, including the HBO TV movie “The Normal Heart.” This was one of the few interviews that really didn’t feel like you were eating one of those super-sweet candies stuffed full of artificial flavors.

So when can you start to see the new season of “American Horror Story” on the air? We understand that it’s a long wait until October, but that is when the show will surface again with new episodes. The series likes to start itself up right around the time that there is some legitimate buildup for Halloween, and we feel like that will very much continue.
