Teen Choice Awards 2014: Where to live stream, watch red carpet pre-show

Tonight on Fox, many of your favorite stars across all forms of entertainment will be in Los Angeles for one specific purpose: Trying to pick up some trophies for the 2014 Teen Choice Awards. Tyler Posey and Sarah Hyland are going to be presiding over the big show, which will have a variety of different stars in attendance picking up those famous surfboards.

Before the show airs, though, there is an insanely-long red carpet pre-show beginning at 2:00 p.m. Pacific time or 5:00 p.m. on the East Coast. There will be big stuff throughout the afternoon / early evening. You’ll get to see your favorite stars walk the carpet, speak about some of their passions, and also find out potentially what is coming up for them.

What remains something interesting about this show to us is figuring out whether or not the 2014 show is when the TCAs will finally get the big audience that you would think they would have based on the show’s social-media impact. Despite getting hundreds of trending topics all summer long and being a huge winner on the night on the show on Twitter, it never really draws huge viewers. Some of this may just be people voting but not actually wanting to watch the show, or just people doing other things. This is the time of year when summer is wrapping up for many teens, and they may be cherishing that freedom before heading back to school.
