‘The Big Bang Theory’ season 8: Celebratory photos via Jim Parsons

For a long time, we seriously wondered whether or not Jim Parsons would ever have any form of social media. His “Big Bang Theory” co-star Johnny Galecki steers clear of the web, and Kaley Cuoco recently got rid of her Twitter account.

Luckily, Jim picked up his Instagram account earlier this summer, and it is a nice little trove of positivity just about every morning. Also, we feel like it is yet another nice reminder of how different the real Jim is from the quirky man that is Sheldon Cooper.

While Parsons posted many photos over the summer talking about coffee and morning rituals, he was silent on the contract status of “The Big Bang Theory” cast … at least until now. While he’s still not talking about money or the negotiations, he does seem very happy to be back at work based on two of his latest photos this week. Take a look at the images below, along with the captions.

In the end, this is a great time to celebrate! “The Big Bang Theory” will still premiere on Monday, September 22, and it’s still very well possible that the show will be able to tape all 24 episodes as originally planned. Even though this is a job that these actors have held now for eight years, they all seem to enjoy the process.
