‘Once Upon a Time’ season 4 spoilers: Josh Dallas on possible ties to ‘Frozen’ characters

When “Once Upon a Time” season 4 premieres, you are going to know almost right away that there is one connection between a cast member and one of the new faces from “Frozen”: Specifically, Elsa is going to have a major ax to grind when it comes to Rumpelstiltskin and some of the things that the man did to her.

However, this may not be the only tie that is unveiled between the two worlds … at least according to a very speculative Josh Dallas. Speaking to TV Guide while at Comic-Con, he suggested that it is possible that one of these characters may have some sort of friendly relationship with a character years ago that could come up and play a role again now:

“Maybe there is an unlikely friendship that Charming had in his past that maybe literally changed the entire path of his life.”

If that is not a tease, then we don’t know what else! Seriously, Dallas is being as coy as coy can be, and we don’t have that much of a problem with it. It’s fun! Also, we imagine that his friendship is probably with Kristoff from our vantage point, given that Anna and Elsa didn’t have many friends growing up and we cannot really see how their paths would have crossed. Maybe Kristoff brought Charming some ice back when he was working on that farm.

Regardless, we’ll find out in just a couple of months from now! The new season of “Once Upon a Time” premieres on ABC Sunday, September 28.
