‘Under the Dome’ season 2 spoilers: Surprises teased from Comic-Con panel
“Under the Dome” was one of the earlier shows this year to get a moment in the sun at Comic-Con, and this in turn led to us getting a great opportunity to hear about a few interesting things coming up by the time season 2 is over.
One that particularly has our attention right now? The idea that someone could actually be leaving the dome before this season is over. It’s unclear what they would do on the outside, but like the idea of seeing what more of this outside world has become … at least so long as its minimal and the show doesn’t become too ambitious for its own good.
As for some other teasers…
- You are going to meet Barbie’s father at some point later this summer, and there is so much more that will come alongside this.
- Executive producer Neal Baer promised that you will find out what is inside the locker at some point during this season.
- Of course, there was the familiar refrain of “no one is safe” playing out throughout the panel.
- Dean Norris discussed briefly playing a father on this show … and how Junior’s a tough kid for him to raise. (Granted, Jim is not a model parent really, either.)
- Colin Ford appreciates the sort of atmosphere that they have filming the show. It feels like a small town, and they get to see most of the same people year after year.
In the end, this was not a panel necessarily littered with spoilers, but rather a great chance for longtime fans to hear a little more about a show they very much enjoy.
