‘Sons of Anarchy’ season 7 premiere date revealed!
When is “Sons of Anarchy” going to premiere later this fall? Luckily, we’ve got an answer to that very question below!
FX finally lifted the veil this afternoon, and the final season will be upon us on one of the dates we predicted long ago: Tuesday, September 9 at 10:00 p.m. Eastern time. We’ve always felt like early September is an extremely smart time to start up the show, mostly thanks to the fact that it allows them at least two weeks of new episodes without any competition from the major networks. SAMCRO gets you hooked in, and then you don’t really want to spend your time watching anything else.
The challenge for creator Kurt Sutter and the writers at this point is monumental, given that they have to find a way to ensure that the series ends up being worth all of the hype and attention. You have to find a way to wrap up what is a very elaborate tale with many characters and storylines, while also establishing just enough of something new to give the season its own identity. Also, you have the challenge of the internet responding with more furor over finales than anything else on TV. The good side of the coin is the “Breaking Bad” finale; meanwhile, the negative side is the end to “How I Met Your Mother.”
Luckily, we know that there are many awesome things worth looking forward to. Courtney Love and Marilyn Manson are among the new guest stars, and there will be at least one more appearance from Walton Goggins as Venus Van Dam before it all ends.
We’ll have more news pertaining to “Sons of Anarchy” soon (as always), so be on the lookout for that! You can also sign up to obtain some additional scoop courtesy of our CarterMatt Newsletter.
