‘Hell on Wheels’ season 4 spoilers: Cullen fights back in latest trailer

As we near the season 4 premiere of “Hell on Wheels,” AMC continues to be kind enough to share a few sneak peeks here and there, and that includes the short trailer below that is stuffed full of action.

Are you going to figure out what awaits Cullen Bohannon in the new season based on this alone? Probably not, but this has never been a big priority for the network. Save for maybe “The Walking Dead” and programs that are just starting up, AMC is not really a network that tries to rely on releasing substantial footage of any of their shows in advance. They instead have the confidence to know that their programming is of a high-enough quality that they really do not have to give a whole lot away.

What we know about the show’s fourth season is that it will start off featuring Cullen Bohannon in one of his trickiest positions to date, as he has to wrestle being a family man with his former duties on the railroad … if he can even make it back there. There’s also The Swede to worry about, and the restrictions put on him by this Mormon community.

Away from Cullen, also expect some more big stories from the supporting cast as well as the return of Elam. Common will be back for more this coming season, but don’t expect him to be the same man you remember from before the bear attack.
