‘True Blood’ season 7: Anna Paquin, Stephen Moyer, more confirmed for Comic-Con
We’ve known for some time that there would be a panel for “True Blood” and its final season at Comic-Con. One of the only other questions that has come up outside of that is just who some of the people attending would be.
For the most part, we feel like many are going to be happy with this list. In addition to showrunner Brian Buckner, the list of cast members who will be present includes Chris Bauer (Andy Bellefleur), Kristin Bauer van Straten (Pam Swynford de Beaufort), Anna Camp (Sarah Newlin), Nelsan Ellis (Lafayette Reynolds), Stephen Moyer (Bill Compton), Anna Paquin (Sookie Stackhouse), Nathan Parsons (James), Carrie Preston (Arlene Bellefleur), Sam Trammell (Sam Merlotte), Rutina Wesley (Tara Thornton) and Deborah Ann Woll (Jessica Hamby). To us, there are two primary omissions to this list in Alexander Skarsgard (Eric Northman) as well as Ryan Kwanten (Jason Stackhouse). Maybe the two parties have some movie roles or something else that is making it hard for them to attend.
This is probably going to be an emotional panel this time, given that this is the last time that most of the cast could get together for a public event like this. Filming for the series is over now, and since this show is not likely to win many awards, it will have to find a way to have its reunions happen in some other capacity.
This panel will take place in the large Ballroom 20 on Saturday,July 26 at 5:00 p.m. Pacific time, and will be moderated by Tim Stack of Entertainment Weekly.
Luckily for us, there are still a good six episodes left of “True Blood” for us to dive into and enjoy.
