‘White Collar’ season 6: Cast celebrates Matt Bomer’s ‘Normal Heart’ Emmy love
This past week, the Emmys recognized something that the “White Collar” cast have known for a pretty long time: Matt Bomer is awesome. He got a much-deserved nomination for “The Normal Heart,” and this in turn led to a chance for some to send forth congratulations. Given that the cast is all filming the final season of the show right now, they most-likely feel even closer than ever before.
The following messages were sent out by some very-familiar “White Collar” folks on Twitter not long after the nominations were first announced.
Tim DeKay – “Congratulations to @MattBomer on his #EmmyNoms for @NormalHeartFilm . Much deserved, my friend. xo”
Willie Garson – “Congrats to @WhiteCollarUSA‘s very own @MattBomer on his well-deserved Emmy nomination for the amazing Normal Heart….we love you Matt!”
Creator Jeff Eastin – “Congratulations Matty! It’s about time Emmy figured out what we’ve always known!”
The cast is going to be shooting the final season for at least several more weeks, but after that Bomer already has some other plans on his slate, including filming the much-anticipated sequel to “Magic Mike.” We imagine that thanks to “The Normal Heart,” Matt is going to get all sorts of offers thrown at him moving forward.
So when can you expect to see “White Collar” premiere? While nothing is confirmed right now, think along the lines of either in November, or early next year. This is around the window that the show has aired in the past, but we don’t think the season will be divided off into bunches like it has in the past.
