‘Rizzoli & Isles’ season 5: See Angie Harmon, Sasha Alexander talk story, characters, and more

Do you want to spend your weekend watching some videos related to “Rizzoli & Isles”? If so, this may be the article for you. We’ve got a pair of interviews straight from TNT featuring Angie Harmon and Sasha Alexander. While neither one of them is particularly spoilery, they do offer up some more insight into this season as a whole, and what it is like to step into these characters for a good percentage of the year.

For these two, we imagine that it must be at least in part a labor of love getting to step in and play these characters. Jane and Maura constantly have a lot going on, and also get a nice balance of fun stuff and serious acting. With all of that being said, there is still a lot of actual labor to it. It takes a lot of time to make a procedural show, especially one where two actors dominate the majority of the screen time.

Over the rest of the season, you can expect to see some more complicated mysteries, but also a few new personal stories that tie into romances, family, and much more. The season is going to be broken into halves, but in that time there is also going to be a rather significant amount of ground to cover.

The next new episode of the show airs on Tuesday night, so at least for the time being, there is no real reason to wait long to step into this world again.
