‘White Collar’ season 6 spoilers: Matt Bomer teases series end
“White Collar” season 6 has not even started to air yet, but we are already in a position now where we are sitting around, thinking about how the series is going to end. This is just where we are in this whole crazy, instant-gratification culture right now where everyone wants answers to every little thing as soon as possible.
The way that Matt Bomer is handling this right now feels just about right. He’s not giving you so much that it ruins everything, but at the same time, he gives you a little something to specifically look forward to. Speaking in an interview with TVLine that also included a few comments on his Emmy nomination for “The Normal Heart,” he suggested that when the story of Neal Caffrey is over, you’re probably not going to know everything that happens:
“The ending that they came up with was collaborative — I don’t want to take sole credit or anything — but it was nice that they were willing to listen to the input. … I’m not a big fan of series endings that wrap everything up into a nice bow. I love that Hitchcockian element of believing that people’s imaginations are more potent than anything you can spell out for them. The writers have done a really good job of creating an ending that leaves a lot open to interpretation.”
As long as you ground your series finale in something, we do feel like this is probably the right sort of way to go with it. The last thing that you want to do is give people nothing to talk about when your show ends, and allowing the imagination to run wild is valuable. All we ask is just that we know whether Neal is finally a free man or not.

The saying is “if you want a happy ending it depends where you end the story” For me it is Season 5 ep 13 at the point Peter tells Neal he requested that Neal should be hearing from DC as to when he will be free.. They shake hands and hug and Neal leaves the office happy. ….Stop there….no kidnapping just stop the story on a high note. And make everyone come to their own ending.

I would like to see Neal free and leaving to see someone other than Sara. She left him to go to London, It was her way or not at all. Neal can do better once the anklet is off.

I’d like to see Neal and Sara end up together…maybe working together to solve insurance scams and the like…and other things not so tame…
