‘Big Brother 16’ live feed spoilers: Cody, Donny hold many cards

It’s the morning after the Veto Ceremony int he “Big Brother 16” house, and this is still a very tense situation where nobody really knows what is going to happen for sure.

So far today, though, our favorite conversation has been between Cody, who continues to impress us as a gameplayer, and Donny. Even though Donny is in Team America, he is smart enough to realize that counting on Derrick and Frankie is still not always in his best interest. While he likes Paola, he sees the value in evicting her and keeping Zach. He is like the ultimate meat shield; everyone will constantly target him first, and that could buy most other houseguests another week of safety if he is nominated against the right person.

Donny and Cody agreed to keep things relatively quiet, and also recognize that Amber, Caleb, Frankie, and Devin are very close at this point. The most valuable thing said here was the revelation that Caleb is the first person from this group that needs to go rather than Devin. They know that the latter is a big threat physically, but he’s also somewhat insane and nobody really takes him seriously as a threat to win.

After this chat, Donny then had a conversation with Frankie where he was pressed to get rid of Zach … but we feel like Donny mostly told him what he wanted to hear.

The best-case scenario that Zach can hope for is that Cody, Donny, Victoria, Jocasta, Hayden, Nicole, Brittany, Christine, and Derrick all vote to keep him. That is nine votes. The ones that he may have trouble with are Amber, Frankie, and Caleb thanks to their ties to Devin right now. He for sure needs seven, since Devin holds the tiebreaker. So as long as he can get many of the people we said above, he has a good shot. Donny and Cody seem to be solid for him right now, and it feels ultimately likely the Nicole – Christine alliance may be the two who either keep him around or send him packing.
