‘Graceland’ season 2 spoilers: On the ‘Magic Number’ and more
So far through season 2, “Graceland” has been a fairly complicated show with quite a bit going on thanks to the drama with Jakes, what is going on between Mike and Paige, and of course the cartel missions that have had relatively mixed results so far. There were also a few disturbing moments, including one about a stabbing that is going to haunt us in our dreams for a while.
Of course, we say all of this without even being in the general vicinity at all. In the new episode airing Wednesday night, and of the real focuses of the story is going to be seeing if Briggs and Charlie can find some sort of peace, and then if Jakes can actually find a way to turn some problems from his past into a positive. It may not be easy, but it is something that he has the skills to pull off.
If you want to see a few more hints at the story ahead now, our suggestion is to just check out the full synopsis below:
“Briggs (Daniel Sunjata) and Charlie (Vanessa Ferlito) engage in risky behavior to atone for past misdeeds. Jakes (Brandon Jay McLaren) uses his own secrets to sell his undercover at a garage. A night of clubbing with Carlito (Erik Valdez) forces Turturro (Manny Montana) to examine how far he’ll go for a case.”
The only possible issue that we have right now is this when it comes to stakes. If things are already this crazy with some of these characters now, how is the story going to build? For example, it’s hard to imagine Jakes getting even more in a bad place than he is already.
