‘True Blood’ season 7, episode 1 video: Anna Paquin, Alexander Skarsgard, and more

Tonight finally marks the premiere of “True Blood” season 7, and if you want to fully immerse yourself in vampires and more right now, we’ve got the perfect pair of treats for you.

1. Another sneak peek – This video joins the other ones that we have already shared, and it is a passionate plea on the part of Sookie Stackhouse to be able to do anything and everything in her power in order to help protect Bon Temps. This is Anna Paquin’s character being very well aware of the fact that she is the reason why many problems exist in the town, and she also understands that there are plenty who hate her because of everything that has happened. However, at the same time she recognizes that there really is not anywhere else that she can go but forward, and she has to accept the scorn and the hatred while moving forward and trying to help others.

2. A retrospective – If you missed the “Farewell to Bon Temps” special that aired on HBO last week, the network has put it up on YouTube now. The special features Paquin alongside Stephen Moyer, Alexander Skarsgard and the rest of the cast discussing some of their favorite moments over the history of the show, and also fan interactions, audition experiences, and more. (We love that Alex seems to be sitting on the vampire version of the Iron Throne throughout this.) It’s a really fun half an hour for those who have not heard some of the stories before, and it’s also a good refresher since it has been such a long time since “True Blood” was on the air.
