‘Under the Dome’ season 2 spoilers: Stephen King on writing the premiere
If you have been following “Under the Dome” throughout most of its offseason, then you may be well aware already that Stephen King penned the June 30 premiere. It’s an episode that features death, answers to some questions, and also more questions that need to be answered. As King explains in the video below, it is something that he was more than happy to take on.
One of the reasons why he chose to step in for this episode is because he has long wanted to make a mark on the show, and in doing the premiere he can also make certain that he has made an even further stamp on the series. What happens here will of course shape everything moving forward.
In addition to King’s comments, one of the reasons to be excited about the second season of “Under the Dome” is simply the creativity factor of it. Now that the writers are not tied so much to the book as they were in the first season, they will be able to present their own ideas for what this Chester’s Mill community needs the dome for, and who is going to be in the most danger of dying. Given that there are so many who fall in the premiere, it’ll be interesting to see what happens next.
The premiere of “Under the Dome” is not that far away now, so of course stay tuned: We’ll have so much more on the premiere from King and everyone else involved in the near future. Stay tuned!
