‘Rizzoli & Isles’ season 5 spoilers: First look at episode after Lee Thompson Young tribute

One of the biggest challenges that any show can face is obviously saying goodbye to a longtime cast member after they tragically pass away. It is a difficult thing to get through, and as performers you have to play someone mourning while you are doing the same thing in real life.

After this tribute episode is over, though, the next challenge is coming to work the next day and often filming an episode that is somewhat removed from the tragedy. TV can have a short-term memory like that sometimes, and there is also the need to simply press on with the story. It’s all ultimately a difficult balance to try and maintain when you are a procedural much like “Rizzoli & Isles” is.

The next episode of the show (airing a week from Tuesday) is going to be titled “Too Good to Be True.” It is unclear based on the synopsis whether or not Lee Thompson Young or the Frost character will even be referenced after the tribute episode the week prior, but Jane’s pregnancy will be a big topic as the show tries to move forward. Just take a look at the official synopsis for more:

“A killer is using online ads to find the perfect candidate for murder: men no one will notice are missing. Meanwhile, Jane discovers that keeping her pregnancy quiet will be a tough assignment.”

We know that Jane’s pregnancy will be something that remains a key topic of conversation throughout the season, so that is one thing that you can expect to see more of. As for Frost, we’re sure that his and Young’s memory will continue to be remembered, even if he is not mentioned on screen.
