‘Royal Pains’ season 6 spoilers: The Lawsons’ Emma adjustment period

Who is Emma? This was a question that was raised quickly on the season 6 premiere of “Royal Pains,” but in between the end of that episode and the preview for the one airing next week, it was made pretty clear that she has a very particular tie to the Lawson family. (It was pretty easy to figure this one out, but still there are some minor spoilers ahead if you haven’t figured it out yet.)

Tuesday night’s new episode is going to focus a little more on Eddie R. Lawson starting to realize that he may have a descendant out there that he previously did not know about, but there may still be plenty of struggles on the parts of Hank and Evan to figure this out, as well. The fear from us is that too much of this story could potentially derail everything else that is going on, but if there is the right amount of balance for it, it really doesn’t have to be that way.

The third episode of this season is entitled “A Bridge Not Quite Far Enough,” and if you look below at the official synopsis, you should have a good idea of just what to expect:

“Hank, Evan and Paige try to help Eddie have a relationship with Emma; Hank treats a private investigator; Divya must find a nanny; Jeremiah makes a friend.”

There Jeremiah story is going to be an intriguing one to watch separate from what is going on with the Lawsons, mostly because we haven’t quite seen him with anyone away from the doctors, especially someone who could double as a potential love interest.
