‘Under the Dome’ season 2 spoilers: The fight to save the food supply

There are going to be some storylines on “Under the Dome” season 2 that will feel new and exciting, and then, there are probably going to be some others that you feel have already been done around a million and a half times. When it comes to what we have for you below, it is more of the latter this time around.

The second episode of this upcoming second season is entitled “Infestation,” and the general theme of this should be pretty obvious thanks to a food supply getting completely ruined. Want to know more now? Then just take a look at the official synopsis that was recently released by CBS:

“Barbie risks his life to help Rebecca save the Chester’s Mill food supply when she discovers an infestation of butterfly eggs on the town’s crops.”

One of the reason that we feel the show is teasing this story above all others is only because they don’t want to give away some of the larger arcs in advance. What happens in the premiere will most-likely shape the rest of the story all season, and if there are some shocking deaths ahead as have been teased, the last thing in the world that the producers want to do is give away some of that big stuff in advance.

Hopefully, though, there will not too much time spent on the general upkeep of Chester’s Mill the town, and more focused in on trying to figure out just what the purpose of this dome really is.
