‘Sleepy Hollow’ season 2: What is the official premiere date?
Have you been desperate to find out when “Sleepy Hollow” season 2 is going to come on the air? Well, we may now have some sort of concrete answer for you.
At an event Monday night, it was announced that Monday, September 22 will be the return date for the Fox series with Tom Mison and Nicole Beharie, which does go against some of what was said previously. At one point, there were suggestions that the show may try to air its entire season consecutively, and with production starting early compared to most other shows, it was presumable that it could have launched earlier in the fall. Now, you have to expect that with Christmas and MLB playoffs, there will at least be two significant hiatuses dividing it up.
Other than this, though, this is certainly a fine premiere date. It will be lined up perfectly with much of what the other networks are going to be doing on that night, which we’re going to go ahead and label the “official start of the fall season.” Earlier today, after all, NBC revealed that this is when both “The Voice” and “The Blacklist” are also going to return with new seasons. We’re excited for all of these shows, but “Sleepy Hollow” does have a special place for giving us that perfect combination of action, humor, and mythology that you do not get very much of on TV anymore.
Do you think that “Sleepy Hollow” season 2 is going to live up to the expectations of the first go-around, or suffer under the weight of them? Let us know below, and click here for some further head-turning updates related to the series.
