‘Beauty and the Beast’ season 2 spoilers: Kristin Kreuk on return, season 3 order

The latest -We’ll start off this particular “Beauty and the Beast” article with a confirmation on one thing courtesy of Kristin Kreuk: How many episodes we are looking at for season 3 of the show. Overall, we are going to have 13 episodes, which is a nice chunk given this is how many that most cable shows have. We understand the disappointment for those who would prefer to have a few more episodes, but this will allow for an opportunity to tell a more contained story, and one without throwaway episodes or diversions.

So as for where we pick up with the show on Monday night, things are not going to be looking so great for Vincent. When it comes to the evidence against Vincent and Cat’s hopes to rescue him, Kristin Kreuk said that following in an interview with TVLine:

“It’s rather damning. There doesn’t really look like there’s much of a way out for him or [Cat, Tess and JT], so they’re all in a panic. And clearly, because he is a beast with issues, keeping his temper in jail is not a great thing.”

Kreuk also surprisingly said that she was not completely floored that the show got a third-season renewal in the first place, attributing it to the way that the network often does things. However, she also said that she did not expect a full-season renewal. We don’t have a premiere date yet for season 3, but we wonder if the show could become a summer fixture if it happens to do well there this month. We certainly would be open to the idea if it meant getting it around longer.
