‘Reign’ season 2 spoilers: Jonathan Keltz scores promotion to series regular
Oh, who doesn’t love irony in the world of TV?
On the CW series “Reign,” Jonathan Keltz plays the part of Leith, a young man who rises up from a humble baker to own land, and may even be a potential power player within this world. There is serious potential for him to do so many more heroic deeds on the upcoming second season, and he may now officially have the screen time in order to make it happen.
In news that was first reported by Deadline, Jonathan Keltz has been officially promoted to series regular, and will appear in the credits along with have some sort of regular salary. These are two of the familiar duties for most who have earned this title. This does not necessarily guarantee that he will have his own storyline or appear in every episode, but this is a luxury for the show’s producers to have.
Thanks to this new title, there is no longer a reason to worry about Keltz potentially taking a job somewhere else, and then be unable to do anything of value on this show. Booking up for the entire season is a pretty big deal that helps to ensure that this is the same exact historical drama (with a touch of fiction) that you love.
Season 2 of “Reign” will once again air on The CW on Thursday nights, and will follow “The Vampire Diaries” as a part of this lineup. The two shows strangely compliment each other, which was not something that you may have expected given that one is about vampires and the other is about Mary, Queen of Scots.
