‘True Blood’ season 7 spoilers: New premiere details; Alexander Skarsgard mystery continues

Even as we get closer and closer to the premiere of “True Blood” season 7, there is still one question that is entirely out there for a debate: What in the world is happening with Eric Northman?

The first thing that we should point out is that for those who have not believed the news already about Alexander Skarsgard’s status on the show moving forward, he was listed in an HBO press release sent out today as one of the stars of the show. Therefore, there’s no reason to worry about him showing up for thirty seconds and dying.

Unfortunately, the longer synopsis released by the network for this episode makes no mention of where he is, or what he could be up to:

“A band of rogue H-vamps crashes the vampire-human mixer at Bellefleur’s, with shocking results. As Sookie (Anna Paquin) seeks refuge from accusations that she’s somehow to blame for the chaos in Bon Temps, the “one vampire for every human” plan moves forward. In the face of a vigilante insurrection led by redneck Vince (Brett Rickaby), Bill (Stephen Moyer) receives aid from an unexpected source.”

If we were to create some sort of guess when it comes to what is up with the Eric character, we’d imagine that he will show up within the first few episodes and things will start to become a little clearer. However, there’s no way that HBO is going to tease that up in the slightest in advance, since they do not want to potentially ruin anything.
