‘So You Think You Can Dance’ season 11 video: Justin Bieber on dance crew twist

Don’t you love it when there is an enormous uproar about something without anyone having seen it? That is precisely what happened when it was announced that Justin Bieber was going to be a part of this upcoming “So You Think You Can Dance” season.

We understand why people are all bent out of shape about it: Bieber’s unlikable, and has done very little to try to convince us that he is anyone that we should want to turn around and root for. It’s understandable that there are some who don’t want to watch thinking that they are going to have to deal with him.

For those of you who are worried about it, though, know that Bieber is not going to be a big part of the show. The video below sort of traces out his involvement, and he will basically just be showing up in some pre-taped segments during the audition shows. He won’t be a judge in the immediate future, nor will he be shoved down your throat. He also doesn’t come across too horribly in the video, as he is instead introducing the dance crew competition.

Hopefully, Justin takes advantage of this opportunity to appeal himself to some of the smartest TV fans out there. While he has done some very unlikable things, we feel like there is a certain level of forgiveness that can come for people who can turn things around and be able to not take themselves so seriously.

Tonight’s new episode will feature guest judges Jenna Elfman and Wayne Brady, along with hopefully a great legion of performers from around the country.
