‘The Originals’ season 2 spoilers: More on Klaus, Hayley baby, brotherly love
We have a bit of a wait when it comes to getting more of “The Originals” on our TV screens (think the Fall), but we have some scoop for you today that will help tide you over until our favorite vampires are back causing chaos and mayhem.
Some of the cast from “The Originals” (specifically Joseph Morgan, Daniel Gillies, Phoebe Tonkin and Charles Michael Davis) spoke to TV Line about what’s going to be coming up on the second season and here are a few little tidbits to get you excited for what’s to come.
1. Who will help Hayley?: Becoming a hybrid is no easy task and we’ve been left to wonder who’s going to mentor her into this new and dangerous world? While Gilles joked around about names being drawn from a hat by a mysterious “hamster” the truth of the matter is that even the cast don’t know who is going to take her under their wing and show her the ropes.
2. Bye Bye Baby: Did you really think that Klaus was going to pull up his big boy pants and be this great dad? Hayley and Klaus decided in the finale that it was best for everyone to send their baby off to live with aunt Rebekah (is this really the best idea they could come up with?) Is the baby going to be gone forever? Tonkin said: “The baby is not the elephant in the room. We definitely talk about her in the first three episodes. We don’t just pretend she never happened.”
3. Brotherly love: Season 1 of “The Originals” had everyone fighting among themselves for most of the season, but when the show returns in the fall expect to see a different dynamic. Gilles said: “That finale was basically an apocalypse, but I suppose we’re a little more bonded than we’ve ever been.”
