‘The Blacklist’ season 2 spoilers: Amir Arison joins James Spader, Megan Boone as regular
Are you ready for another major promotion from the world of “The Blacklist”? Then odds are, you are probably going to be pretty thrilled with this news.
Sources confirm that Amir Arison, who plays the part of FBI tech guru Aram Mojtabai on the show, has been promoted to series regular for the upcoming second season. There was a spot on the show that was made available for him following the shocking death of Meera a little earlier on in the season 1 finale. The show clearly had some room now in its budget for another regular, especially since you have to remember just how big a ratings success it was for the first season.
“The Blacklist” ended season 1 with many questions, with the biggest one being whether or not Berlin is someone who is going to make himself very clear moving forward. Also, the jury is still out when it comes to the future of Tom Keen, who was shown being extremely close to death the last time that we saw him. The new season premieres on NBC later this fall, and it will remain (at least briefly) on Monday nights before a move to Thursday. For many of you, the even bigger news may simply be that the show is going to get a chance to really shine following the biggest event of the entire year for TV fans: The Super Bowl.
There will be most likely a variety of other announcements in the months ahead, but we imagine that these will have a good bit more to do with guest stars than a new regular.
