‘True Blood’ season 7 spoilers: Want to see the new poster?

Are you excited for the return of “True Blood” on June 22nd? It’s a little bittersweet since we all want more of the show, but at the same time it’s the last season and therefore the last time we are going to see Sookie, Bill and Eric on our TV screens.

Because this is the series finale, it’s going to be a tricky season. Of course you want to see all of your favorite characters have a happy ending, but we have to remember that this is a vampire show and when you’re living in a world like this that is surrounded by death and tragedy, everyone may  not get that happy ending that we are hoping for. Also HBO is a network known for taking chances and isn’t afraid to make risky moves including killing off main characters – one of the many reasons we love HBO.

When we heard that there was a new poster for “True Blood’s” final season we were expecting to see a lot of Sookie, Eric or Bill included in the artwork, but we were actually pleasantly surprised when we saw the very cool image they created. We just have two words that encapsulate everything: Goodbyes Suck. Not only did they choose the perfect wording for this poster, but the image of the vampire bite mark and dripping blood tied the whole thing together perfectly and made us sad that the journey is coming to an end. We guess it couldn’t go on forever, but at the same time, couldn’t it have gone on just a little bit longer? Goodbyes really do suck.
